Frequently asked questions
How do I delete my account and my data?
Open the Inloopd app, go to the Profile tab, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account. You’ll be asked to confirm. When you confirm, your account and all associated data — profile, briefings, feedback, listening history, follows, and bookmarks — are deleted from our servers.
If you can’t access the app for any reason, email legal@inloopd.com from the email address on your account and we’ll handle the deletion within 30 days.
Why didn’t I get a briefing today?
Briefings publish once per day in U.S. Eastern Time, typically by 6 a.m. ET. If you opened the app before that or your network connection dropped during refresh, pulling down on the Today screen will fetch the latest briefing. If you still don’t see one after a few minutes, send us a note at legal@inloopd.com with the date and your time zone.
How does Inloopd choose which stories to include?
Each day Inloopd ingests articles from a curated set of news, research, and industry sources. An AI ranker selects and orders stories for you based on the topics, role, and expertise level you set in onboarding, plus signals from your feedback (“Cover this next time” / “Not interested”). The selected stories are then turned into an audio briefing using AI text-to-speech. Briefings are AI-generated; we always show source links so you can read the original articles.
How do I change my topics, role, or briefing length?
In the app, open Profile, tap any field you want to change, and tap Save changes. Profile changes typically take effect on tomorrow’s briefing. If you change topics during the day, the app will let you know whether the update applies to today or starts tomorrow.
My audio won’t play / playback keeps stopping
First, confirm your device isn’t in silent mode and that the volume is turned up. If audio still won’t play, try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, send us a short description and your iPhone model + iOS version at legal@inloopd.com.
How do I report incorrect or misleading content?
Briefings are AI-generated summaries of articles from third-party sources. We always link to the original source so you can verify any claim. If you find a story that’s significantly misrepresenting the source, or a source we should not be including, please email legal@inloopd.com with the date and the story headline. We act on these reports.
Does Inloopd cost anything?
Inloopd is free to use during our launch period. We do not show ads. If pricing changes in the future, we’ll notify all users in advance and existing accounts will retain access under the terms in effect when they signed up.
